Deputy says Russia should legalize cryptocurrencies sooner

MOSCOW, May 11 (PRIME) -- Russia should legalize the cryptocurrency faster, Anatoly Aksakov, head of the financial market committee at the parliament’s lower house State Duma, said on Thursday at a forum.

“If we speak about my position on the cryptocurrencies, I think that they should be legalized sooner, used actively in external settlements,” Aksakov said.

The government used to have different approaches to the cryptocurrencies in external trade settlements, now everyone agrees that they should be used there actively.
